A brief diversion...

Today our group went on a road trip! Our guide from the Thames tour was back and boarded a bus with us, with the destinations of Stonehenge and Bath.

This excursion involved no formal education, presentation, or lectures. Instead it allowed a bit of meandering in the countryside and beautiful streets while immersing us in the culture of historic England.

The beautiful countryside was literally a breath of fresh air after nearly a week in London.

Saturday near solstice at Stonehenge does not lead to a quiet visit.

I wish I could see how they would have been presented closer to creation. What flora was here? What paths wandered through?

Try as I may, I could not take it home with me.

It took an hour to get to Bath, but it was worth it for this pretty city.

I enjoyed the changing colors of the projection, giving multiple views on how this structure looked all together.

Solis Minerva. I should have brought an offering.

If I had brought a book, I might have sat by this bath.

I did not touch the water but I was very tempted.

Blockhead, the only person running from a bath in Bath.

I took the pamphlet. I suppose we'll find out July 4th if Blockhead made it in.
